OUR MISSION

Here at Dr Ruth Tanyi Ministries, we have a threefold mission: (1) To share God’s unconditional love and grace by proclaiming the uncompromising Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world, which is the only guaranteed hope to bring about change in the hearts of Mankind in these last days; (2) To disciple, equip and build-up others through our  in-depth  Discipleship Audio Podcast teachings of biblical Truths and principles as found in God’s Word; and (3) To teach individuals how to integrate Bible-based principles with medical lifestyle practices in order to prevent and overcome diseases, thereby fostering “wholeness” of the Mind/Body/Spirit, which will empower and enable them to enjoy divine health to complement their spiritual journey, as they fulfill God’s calling in their respective lives. We accomplish these things  through our in-depth audio Podcast teaching through the Bible called “Biblical Principles For a Blessed Life”; our quarterly  Magazine called “Biblical Preventive Health with Dr Ruth”; our Television Programs; our books, CD and DVD teachings; and through live conferences.

OUR VISION

To reach  the  “Four Ends” of the world  with the uncompromising Gospel message of Jesus Christ, and teach others  how to apply God’s Word into their daily lives.  Work in our immediate communities and beyond through  our Outreach Programs to : (1) Share the love and grace of God in action while proclaiming the “heart of God”: The Gospel message of peace, reconciliation, joy, etc, thereby instilling hope to others; and (2) Collaborate with the Body of Christ and our local communities through our “Wholeness of the Temple Program” to evangelize and share the love of God in action, while bringing to the forefront the necessity of  “wholeness ” of the Mind/Body/Spirit .  We believe individuals can perform at their utmost as God’s co-workers when they are experiencing  “Wholeness”  in their pilgrimage on earth.

Our Health Beliefs

Humans are  tripartite beings, meaning we are made up of: Spirit, Soul, and Body (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24). For the true Christian, we have a regenerated spirit, and have been  sealed  by  God Himself in the form of His Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14). Our Souls (minds, emotions and temperaments or personality) are in a continual process of being changed, if we choose to renew our minds, in accordance with the Word of God ( Romans 12:2), in order to appropriate God’s perfect will for us. Our physical bodies  are God’s  temple, which is like the dwelling place, home or house for our spirits and souls, and as such enable us to physically function as God’s co-workers in order to carry out His perfect  will on the earth.  In order to carry out God’s perfect will as His co-workers, a strong and enduring temple is necessary.  God wants us to be in good health and for our souls to prosper (3 John 1: 2).  The Bible teaches several principles about taking care of our temples, such as avoiding unhealthy habits of worrying,  gluttony, laziness, addictions, etc.  With such clear messages from the Bible about healthy lifestyle practices, we believe that:

  • Having a balanced life, where we promote “wellness” and “wholeness” of the spirit, soul and physical  body is a biblical principle
  • Good health is absolutely essential in fulfilling God’s calling in our lives
  • Without good health, we will be unable to carrying out the physical functions of the body as directed by the spirit
  • God is pleased when we take care of our physical bodies (temples), which will better equip us physically to endure our pilgrimage as His children and co-workers
  • God is pleased when we obey the natural laws of a healthier lifestyle,  thereby preventing  diseases, even though we will be given a gloried body (new bodies) after we die
  • It is not God’s will for us, His children, to die prematurely due to abuse of our temples, disobedience, neglect or outright ignorance
  • Respecting our temples by intentionally taking care of them limits the entrance of Satan into our lives through various diseases and sicknesses
  • Growing, maturing and prospering  spiritually is God’s will for His children, just as much as prospering in good health and renewing of our souls  in accordance with His Word.
