Wisdom And More Wisdom
The Bible teaches that possessing and operating in Godly wisdom and understanding should be the Primary way that we, as children of God, should make our daily decisions (See Proverbs 4). So, what really is wisdom? Wisdom, in its simplistic definition, means applying and living out Godly Truths in every area of life.
Using finances as an example, Godly wisdom would require that you first obey God by accepting that you should give financially towards His Work. Next, you would be discerning, to be certain, you only give your money to Churches, Ministries, other Christian Organizations, etc., that are genuinely proclaiming the True Gospel Message of Christ Jesus. And then lastly, you would give cheerfully without allowing anyone to coerce you into giving (2 Corinthians 9:6-7). Applying this kind of wisdom in your giving is what pleases God, and He will, in turn, reward you abundantly (Luke 6:38).
God’s Word emphasizes that, living daily in Godly Wisdom is much better than possessing material things (Proverbs 3: 12-18). Why? Primarily because you will be operating in God’s Will; Secondarily, because God is faithful in keeping His promises, and as such, He will open Divine opportunities for you; and Thirdly, God will bless you with the fortitude to make wise decisions, and as such, you will be successful in every area of life.
Friends, today, ask God the Holy Spirit to help you to seek Godly wisdom in your finances, relationships, conversations with others, business dealings, family dynamics, in caring for yourself/your health; and then, step back and watch how God will prosper you, in Jesus ‘name.
Remember! God wants you to ask Him for wisdom, if you so desire (James 1:5), so that He can prosper you abundantly!
